Originally from Spring, Texas, Alexia had recently completed her first year at Santa Clara University, where she was pursuing degrees in Strategic Communications and Political Science with a minor in Philosophy. Those who knew her describe a young woman who embraced every opportunity to learn, challenge herself, and build meaningful connections with the people around her.
Alexia arrived at Santa Clara in 2025 with ambitious goals and an eagerness to make the most of her college experience. In a short period of time, she became involved in campus life, formed close friendships, and earned the admiration of fellow students for her intelligence, kindness, and positive outlook.
Before college, Alexia attended The John Cooper School in Texas, where she was a dedicated student-athlete. She played on the varsity girls soccer team as both a goalkeeper and defender, wearing jersey number 16 for the Cooper Dragons. Coaches and teammates remember her as dependable, hardworking, and deeply committed to her team. She was the kind of player who put the group’s success ahead of personal recognition and brought determination to every match and practice.
Outside the classroom and soccer field, Alexia demonstrated an impressive drive to gain real-world experience. Since 2023, she had worked with Xystus LLC as a business analyst, assisting with marketing initiatives and corporate projects. Her professionalism, curiosity, and maturity stood out to those who worked alongside her.
Friends say Alexia had a gift for making people feel comfortable and included.
